Computers Gone Psycho

I just thought I'd let you know that unfortunately I can't blog at the moment with photos. Our computer which is only a couple of months old went slightly psycho two weeks ago and has had to be sent back to the store to be repaired. It probably won't be back for another 2-3 weeks. It kept continually shutting down when you were in the middle of things and programs like iPod kept disappearing.

At the moment we have to use a smaller computer that my sons use to play games etc. on and I don't want to put the programme on it for photos.

My Beatrix Potter sampler is coming along nicely. I am nearly half way there. I think because there are no colour changes all the time, you can just get moving along at a steady pace.

I have had a lovely morning. My Dad and Sister drove up to the Mountains to see me. We had a lovely morning exploring all the lovely shops around Leura which is town next to Katoomba. I saw some lovely things that I like but I will have to save up to get them.

My Sister is travelling overseas next month. She is going to Paris for a week (I could take this quite easily), then to England to stay with some friends. Then they are travelling to Venice for a week (also could take quite easily) and then back to London for a week. All together she will be away for a month, While she is away my Dad might come up and stay with us for a few days, which will be lovely.

It is a beautiful Autumn day today. The sun is out and the birds are singing. I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Hello, dear Sandra.
As annoying your PC is Crash, but fortunately your son can help out you somewhat.
It makes me happy much that you had a beautiful day with your family.
Surely a arduous, but beautiful time is approaching for your sister.
I am on the way" northward ". About your progress at BP, I am pleased much.
I wish you a beautiful week.

Don't you hate computer woes! Luckily for me, hubby is a pro with computers (its his job) and any problems are soon fixed. I'm useless with them! Your sister's trip sounds exquisite. My sister just returned from a similar trip - London, then Paris, then Prague, then London again. One day maybe....

Hi Sandra,

Sorry to hear about your computer being under the weather. Most frustrating considering it's almost new.

Margaret Gibson looks absolutely amazing all framed and hanging in your living room. If it's "off" as your DH put it I can't see it either. Maybe he was standing a bit crooked when he was looking at it?

Oh, your sister is so lucky to be spending a month in England and Europe. Wouldn't it be loverly??
I'd love to visit Holland, Belgium, France and Austria. And I could easily spend several months in the British Isles lost in exploration of castles, stately manor houses, Cathedrals and scenic ruins.

We haven't flown anywhere since before 9/11 though, and I wonder if it's more of a pain to do so then it once was. What with all the safety regulations and stuff.

I love seeing all the different samplers that you've stitched over the years, and it's neat that you remember when you stitched them and other interesting details.

Hope that your Dad gets to visit with you while your sister is away. Does he live with her??

I guess your winter season is approaching for real now. We're slowly creeping towards summer here. Temperatures are a bit lower then they should be though.

Cheers

Hopefully your computer will be back and working soon. My computer was shutting off on me but realized that the vent was clogged with dust now its working better. little things can be a big problem with computers which is no fun.

Hi, Samp, dear! I'm finally able to catch up with you, and what gorgeous things you've been stitching and finishing!!! I'm not nearly as far along on my Beatrix as you! Yours is so pretty in the red. And I love your recently finished samplers. I want to chat with you! interiorsbydeb2@aol.com
