Dutch Spot Sampler

I have been asked many times about the sampler above. It is a Dutch Spot Sampler. The pattern was in an Australian Better Homes and Gardens Magazine a long time ago. Probably about 15 years ago. I'm sorry I really don't know where you could a copy of this sampler.

It is a beautiful sampler and always reminds me of my Dutch Beauty Sampler as they have similar motifs on them. This one also has an A&E on it.

They are both worked on 32ct cream linen over one. They hang in next to each other in my hallway.

They are both so beautiful. I love the muted colors and all of those motifs.

They are absolutely stunning. I love the Dutch spot sampler. I have one something like that buried in my stas. It makes me want to dig it out. Oh no, stop - I have too many UFO"s now!

Both are beautiful samplers! I can imagine they look stunning on the wall together. I think some of the older magazines have the most beautiful patterns!

Both of your samplers are gorgeous. I admire you for stitching such large samplers over one.

G'day mate! I didn't know that you had stitched DB. These are both nice samplers and I can see why you would hang them together. I'm so used to seeing your Rhode Island style samplers and other ones from SL that these surprised me. I hope you keep these for yourself :)

They are gorgeous, somehow the first sampler is familiar but cannot place it, must have seen it in a Dutch museum somewhere?
Oh Dutch beauty is fabulous, I have the chart but my sister beat me to it and made it in 4 months so I gave up, would take me years to complete. Well done:))
